About us
For 15 years, Spitex Medimex has been there for people who are cared for at home. Today we also employ family caregivers – so that you can care for your relative with professional support and social security.

Who we are
Spitex Medimex is a private Spitex based in Dietikon. We care for and support people in their own homes – from basic care and treatment care to help with the housework.
With family caregiving we go one step further: we employ relatives who care for someone close to them. You provide the basic care; as a Spitex approved under basic insurance, we bill it to the health insurer, pay you a wage and give you professional support.
We employ family caregivers in the cantons of Zurich, Aargau, Schwyz and St. Gallen.
How employment worksOur approach
Our care is relationship-centred: the person comes first – along with their wish to live at home independently and on their own terms.
Many years of nursing experience and personal contact with the people we support are among our strengths – on the phone and in your home.
We rely on small, stable teams – so that you and your relative deal with familiar faces.
A personal and lasting relationship is the foundation of good care. As a family caregiver, you already bring this relationship with you.
We respect the wish for self-determination and independence within one’s own four walls – your relative’s and your own.
We aim to provide care and support in the person’s mother tongue. In family caregiving, this often comes quite naturally.
We meet everyone without prejudice – whatever their origin, age, gender or cultural background.
For us, care with heart means

Why family caregiving
Many relatives already provide basic care – often unpaid and without adequate social security. Yet basic care is a benefit of basic insurance. We want you to be paid fairly for what you do.
Your relative is cared for by someone they know and trust – at home, in familiar surroundings.
You earn up to CHF 35.00 gross per hour – depending on the canton of the person you care for – and, as an employee, you are covered by social insurance.
A qualified nurse supports you, and our professionals take care of the treatment care. That keeps the quality right – for you and your relative.
Your team at Spitex Medimex
You do the caring, but you are not on your own. You will meet your contact person in person – in your home.
A qualified nurse is your personal contact. They introduce you to the care, call you at least every 2 weeks and visit you at least once a month – more often if needed.
How we support youPreparing medication, dressing wounds, giving injections: if your relative needs treatment care, the qualified nurses of Spitex Medimex take care of it.
